Meet Matilda

I’m Matilda. I'm a strategist, startup advisor, and fractional marketing leader based in London.

I've worked with brands like Lime, Sonos, Weleda, and The London Institute of Photography, launching into new markets, driving millions of app downloads, and building growth strategies that led to multi milllion pound acquisitions. I got quite good at growing things.

But after several years of running my own consultancy, the voice in my head questioning "growth at what cost?" just kept getting louder.

In 2024, I started writing Broken Growth, my Substack now read by 2,000+ people, exploring what successful growth actually means when our planet of finite resources is on fire.

This evolved into consulting on thinking differently about growth and now the Creative Growth Strategy Sprint, a group programme for one-person businesses who want to grow business ecosystems that are creative extensions of who you are.

  • Yes. We’ll think holistically about growth, but for most people revenue growth is the biggest focus that allows you to spend time growing other areas of your business.

  • If you can’t make. a session, it will be recorded and sent to you.

  • Beyond the 75-minute live session, plan for an additional 45–60 minutes to apply the exercises inside your Notion system.

  • You need to have a solid idea of what you offer (even if the services are not completely clear yet) and already have started working with clients. It’s most suitable for freelancers and one person businesses with several years experience running their business.

  • Yes! I’m absolutely not here to tell you not to utilise the tools we have available to us. I just don’t want your entire business to live or die at the hand of the IG algos so will help you build out a stronger ecosystem.
